  • HYDROGEOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT - KING'S COLLEGE MESAIMEER CAMPUS, DOHA

As a part of Hydrogeological studies, Drilling & Pumping test has been done to ascertain essential properties of the aquifer, such as transmissivity, hydraulic conductivity, and storage coefficient, which are crucial for comprehending the behavior of the aquifer and GW modeling. A three-dimensional numerical modelling was conducted to evaluate proposed groundwater control measures at the King's College Mesaimeer Campus. The main objective of this model is to assess whether the proposed groundwater control measures can successfully achieve a target groundwater level that is significantly below the building's footing, specifically 3 meters below ground level. The modelling considered both steady and transient states to capture various groundwater scenarios and temporal variations. The model serves to understand and forecast the behaviour of groundwater.
